Synopsis:
“The Opposite Sex” is a contemporary farce of marriage and modern relationships with a bitter-sweet twist. The play revolves around a dinner party with two couples, which instead of being a pleasant social evening, turns out to be a social nightmare. They have only one thing in common, and when they find out what it is – all hell breaks loose!

Cynthia Cahill has been acting and directing for Dolphin Theatre since she arrived in Auckland a few years ago. She has twice won Best Production at the Dolphin Awards, as well as Best Actress and Best Character Actress. Her last production was Ayckbourn’s “A Chorus of Disapproval” in December 2009, and 2009 has seen her on the Dolphin Committee for the first time.
