The Crucible

SYNOPSIS

"The Crucible" was first presented at the Bristol Old Vic in 1954. The play is based on events that happened 310 years ago in Massachusetts, USA. Arthur Miller has projected a vision of American history that has been internationally acclaimed. The hysteria at the trial hanged 20 men and women for supposedly practicing the Black Arts.
