Over The River And Through The Woods
By Joe DiPietro
24th April to 15th May 2004
SYNOPSIS
"Over the River and Through the Woods" is a heart-warming look at an
Italian-American family which is both funny and poignant.
The setting is today, New York.
Nick Cristano is the only grandchild of two sets of grandparents whom he
visits every Sunday for dinner. His parents have moved away to Florida and his
sister has moved to California so he is the sole focus of his grandparents'
lives. Imagine the reaction when he tells them that he is moving to Seattle! The
Italian thing is family - family, faith and food, and all of these are brought
to bear to try and keep Nick in New York.
