Last Dance At Dum Dum
By Ayub Khan-Din
18th September - 9th October 2004
SYNOPSIS
In 1947 the British left India, and behind them an Anglo-Indian society -
many of whom had enjoyed positions of power and influence - now refugees in
their own country.
By the author of "East is East", this drama sees one such group clinging
blindly to familiar rituals in the face of an angry, vengeful crowd as racial
jealousies boil over during the "Last Dance at Dum Dum".
