Caught In The Net
By Ray Cooney
13th November - 4th December 2004
SYNOPSIS
A double life means double trouble which quadruples for bigamist taxi driver,
John Smith. Ray Cooney's sequel to "Run For Your Wife" finds John desperately
trying to keep both his Wimbledon and Streatham families happy and blissfully
unaware of each other.
However, the fickle finger of fate intervenes and when John's two teenage
children - a boy and a girl by each wife - look destined to meet, John's life
becomes even more complicated than it already is.
Add to the potty plot his loyal lodger, Stanley, along with Stanley's
decrepit old dad who has a very confused perception of reality, and we find Mr
Cooney provides us with yet another masterclass in the art of farce.
