SYNOPSIS
This is a very funny tale about unemployment. John Bailey has been made
redundant. His “Golden Handshake” is more of a ”tarnished chrome”. Over the
coming summer months he bravely copes with his wife’s hugely successful pizza
business, an adulterous affair with the next door neighbour, the possibility of
his own marriage break up and the repeated forays of his mother-in-law into his
living room as she refuses to stay in her granny flat.
All in all a play guaranteed to have you laughing for days afterwards!
