SYNOPSIS
“A Rise In the Market” is set in a luxurious Penthouse in Paris. Sir Clive
Partridge hopes to become president of the EEC but he needs the support of the
puritanical elder statesman Jacques Berri.
So it is bad news for Partridge when Berri comes to visit on a day that
Partridge is trapped in a luxurious flat in Paris, where he is beset by
glamorous young women he can’t account for, plus an angry wife and an exploding
boiler! Wild mishaps and comic confusion abound right up to the hilarious climax
in this sharp satire.
