John Goudge is a well known actor, director, acting tutor and musician, with more than 40 theatre productions under his belt. He ran this workshop at Dolphin Theatre in 2009 with excellent feedback; indeed, some of his participants were cast after successful auditions at Dolphin Theatre last year. Theatre-goers would know John from roles at Titirangi, Dolphin and Playhouse Theatres, amongst others. For 15 years John has been teaching acting classes for the personal and professional development of his students. He runs Rimu Glade Studio in the bush of the Waitakere Ranges, and is often invited to hold workshops at schools, theatres and other institutions. John was an award-winning actor at Dolphin in 2003, was an adjudicator in 2007 and 2008, and later this year directs Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” at Dolphin Theatre – see audition details at www.dolphintheatre.org.nz |
